St Swithun’s Hall in Leonard Stanley is the District Scout Headquarters and consists of:

Large Hall, suitable for sleepovers and children’s parties (a small “bouncy castle” can be accommodated inside the hall), including:

  • Camping green outside for small camps

Archery and Rifle Shooting

If you would like to book the hall for either archery or rifle shooting, please contact Angela Dangerfield by e-mail at angela.dangerfield@btinternet.com or by telephone on 07795 555645 or 01453 822815 to discuss availability and requirements. There will be a fee for hiring the hall or the shooting range, and additional fees for use of District equipment (at the hall only) if required.

For Archery: Once you have confirmed availability of facilities and a suitable instructor, you must download and complete a booking form and send it to Angela Dangerfield. (right-click and select “save target as…” or “save link as…” to download).

For Rifle Shooting: Once you have confirmed availability of facilities and a suitable instructor, you will need to send your fee to Angela Dangerfield.
